Welcome to Atonement Lutheran Church. We're glad you've stopped in for a visit! Founded in 1966, Atonement Lutheran is a
congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:00, with an education hour at 9:30, during the school year. Also, during the school year, classes are available for Grade School, Confirmation and High School-aged Youth.

Any month that has a fifth Sunday, the service will be at 10:00 a.m., (i.e., January 31, May 30, August 29 and October 31, 2010) with coffee and refreshments after (No Adult Forum or Education Hour).

All Adult Forums gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. Please join us for titillating topics as shown in the next column.

You also may be aware that we are currently looking for a Church organist/pianist. We also are looking for a Director of Family Ministries. Please contact us by phone or mail for details.

We're excited!! We have an interim Director of Family Ministries - Debi Gustafson - who will be working with us to develop and expand a more family-friendly Sunday School Program for this fall until the right person comes to our attention.

Education Hour will resume September 19.

Education Hour is at 9:15 to 9:50 a.m. The children begin in the sanctuary then they will be led to their classrooms.

September 19 Congregational Discussion with Gretchen Brauer-Rieke

Gretchen Brauer-Rieke will be moderating a discussion about becoming a Reconciling In Christ Congregation. She will be using a technique designed to facilitate difficult conversations. All points of view will be aired in a way that is nonthreatening and allows for really listening to and considering points of view that might differ from our own. Please come and be a part of it whether you agree or disagree. We begin at 12:00p.m. and a light lunch will be served.
