Welcome! Welcome to Atonement Lutheran Church. We're glad you've stopped in for a visit! Founded in 1966, Atonement Lutheran is a Worship on Sunday mornings at 8:15 and 11:00, with an education hour at 9:30. During the school year, classes are available for Grade School, Confirmation and High School-aged Youth. An engaging Adult Forum is offered year round, as well. Any month that has a fifth Sunday, the service will be at 10:00 a.m., (i.e., January 31, May 30, August 29 and October 31, 2010) with coffee and refreshments after (No Adult Forum or Education Hour). Please explore our website where "Words of the Week" (weekly announcements) and "Makin' Waves" (our monthly newsletter) are available. All are welcome to join us for any and all activities held at Atonement Lutheran Church! All Adult Forums gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. Please join us for titillating topics as shown in the next column. You also may be aware that we are currently looking for a Church organist/pianist. Please contact us by phone or mail for details. January 27: Oregon Synod Bishop Dave Brauer-Rieke will be presenting "Where Hope and History Collide: Eruptiions of Grace." At 6:00 p.m. we will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck supper and the presentation will be at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome! February 17: Ash Wednesday services will be at Noon and 7:00 p.m. with the Dispositon of Ashes and Holy Communion at both services. February 24 through March 31 at 7:00 p.m.: Each Wednesday evening during Lent our Lenten journey will be life-changing in celebration of God's grace and mercy. The theme will be "Journey of Stones." These services will be preceded with a Soup and Bread supper in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m.. Upcoming Adult Forum Topics: February 7 – Saving Jesus – Part 5: Jesus’ Birth – Incarnation.
