Welcome to Atonement Lutheran Church. We're glad you've stopped in for a visit! Founded in 1966, Atonement Lutheran is a
congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Worship on Sunday mornings at 8:15 and 11:00, with an education hour at 9:30. During the school year, classes are available for Grade School, Confirmation and High School-aged Youth. An engaging Adult Forum is offered year round, as well.

Any month that has a fifth Sunday, the service will be at 10:00 a.m., with coffee and refreshments after.

Bible Study is usually every Thursday at 12 Noon. They are on leave right now, but keep watching our website for when they will resume and what they will be studying. All are invited.

All Adult Forums gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. Please join us for the following:

August 3: Conversations in Science and Religion: "Reinventing Medicine?" Join us for a lively book review and discussion of the blockbuster volume, Reinventing Medicine: Beyond Mind-Body to a New Era of Healing by Larry Dossey, M. D.

August 10: Vicar Travis will present a paper he wrote dealing with evangelism, postmodernism, and the challenges facing the Lutheran church in the Northwest. Be ready to share input, ideas and questions as he presents his material.

August 17: No Adult Forum as we enjoy the Biggest "Un-talent Talent Show" on Earth!

August 24: Conversations in Science and Religion: "When do I consult the doctor and when do I pray?" Lynn Moody, RN, our Parish Nurse will share with us on the challenge to practice good medicine and be a person of prayer.

August 31: No Adult Forum as we bid farewell to Travis, Katie, and Claire Larsen after the 10:00am service.

Sunday, August 27:

This is the fifth Sunday of the month and there will be one service at 10:00, with a potluck following to say goodbye to Vicar Travis, Katie and Claire Larsen. The Larsen's have been with us two years and it will be hard to say goodbye, but it is time for Travis to have a congregation of his own so he can be ordained. Thank you, Travis, for your faithfulness and guidance. God's blessings and grace on you as you bring Christ's hope and love to others.
