Welcome! Welcome to Atonement Lutheran Church. We're glad you've stopped in for a visit! Founded in 1966 Atonement Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Worship Sunday mornings at 8:15 and 11:00, with an education hour at 9:30. Classes are available for Grade School, Confirmation and High School-aged Youth. An engaging Adult Forum is offered, as well. Bible Study is every Thursday at 12 Noon. Join us as we continue to study Ecclesiastes. Adult Forums for April, 9:30 -- 10:30 a.m. every Sunday: April 27: "Name" video discussion. We all compare ourselves to others. Others often dictate who we've become. Why are we unable to accept who God created us to be? -- and who is that? May 4: “Prayerful Intentions” – What does the work of a Naturopathic Physician in studying water have to do with the intentionality of prayer? May 11 (Mother’s Day): “Is it the Heart of the Matter, or a Matter of the Heart? - A look at the possible connections of our physical heart to the heart of faith. (A “teaser” fact: As a child in the womb develops, his or her heartbeat synchro- You also may be aware that we are currently looking for a Church organist/pianist. Please contact us by phone or mail for details. May 18, Sunday, 12:15 p.m., Fellowship Hall The Annual Congregational Meeting will begin about 1:15 p.m., after a Potluck lunch. Reports from the Church committees will be presented and, possibly, a recommendation from the Call Committee to the Council will be brought before the membership! April 28, Monday, 5:00 -- 7:30 p.m. The third of our Pastoral Candidates will be hosted by Atonement. The potluck will begin at 5:00 p.m., then continue the evening with us for the answer and question time, then proceed upstairs for the service at 6:00 p.m., and at 7:00 p.m. the Call Committee will meet with the candidate. April 22, Tuesday, 5:00 -- 7:30 p.m. The second of our Pastoral Candidates will be joining the Atonement family for a potluck beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed with an answer and question time with the candidate. We then will continue the evening with a service at 6:00 p.m., with the Call Committee meeting with the candidate at 7:00 p.m. April 19, Saturday, 9:00 -- 3:00 p.m. If it is time for you to renew your CPR/AED skills, here's the perfect opportunity.
